2024 LGBTQ+ Board Monitor report reveals underrepresentation of LGBTQ+ directors on F500 and NASDAQ boards

Published alongside the 2024 LGBTQ+ Board Monitor, this announcement summarises the report’s central finding: openly LGBTQ+ directors remain significantly underrepresented on the boards of the largest US public companies.

The Monitor recorded 0.9% of Fortune 500 board seats and 1.3% of NASDAQ board seats held by openly LGBTQ+ directors.

The Association publishes the Monitor to give boards, nominating committees, and search professionals a shared factual baseline for discussing LGBTQ+ representation in governance.
