Director Membership

Who it is for
LGBTQ+ leaders currently serving on a corporate, nonprofit, or advisory board.
Eligibility
Current or former board service at a public company, major private company, or large nonprofit; nomination or self-application, subject to Board review.
What it includes
  • Invitations to the Annual Summit, regional dinners, and members-only events.
  • Access to the Member Hub, peer directory, and mentorship matching.
  • Visibility and networking opportunities with governance leaders, search firms, and nominating committees.
  • Governance research, webinars, and the LGBTQ+ Board Monitor.

Executive Membership

Who it is for
Senior leaders who identify as LGBTQ+ and are actively preparing for their first board seat.
Eligibility
Current senior executive role (VP+ or equivalent) at a public company, major private company, or large nonprofit; nomination or self-application, subject to Board review.
What it includes
  • Board-readiness education, mentorship from sitting directors, and mock-interview prep.
  • Invitations to the Annual Summit, regional dinners, and members-only events.
  • Visibility and networking opportunities within the governance community as members prepare for board service.
  • Access to the Member Hub and peer directory.

Category

Allyship

Who it is for
Allies and governance professionals who want to champion LGBTQ+ board representation.
Eligibility
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive governance; application subject to Board review.
What it includes
  • Invitations to select Summit and regional dinner programming.
  • Access to research, webinars, and the LGBTQ+ Board Monitor.
  • Opportunities to sponsor and champion LGBTQ+ candidates within their own networks.
Annual contribution
$250 per year

How to join

Please review the qualifications for your chosen category before applying. The Membership Committee reviews all applications on a rolling basis; you should expect a status update within 30 days of submitting a completed application.

Upon approval, new members complete an onboarding call and receive access to the Member Hub and event invitations.
